Common-Element Condominium (CEC)

A “common-element condominium” is a type of condominium ownership structure where the property consists entirely of common elements and does not include individual units for private ownership. In this arrangement, the condominium corporation owns and manages the common areas and amenities, while the individual owners hold exclusive ownership of specific assets, such as homes or parcels of land, that are legally separate from the condominium itself.
