Disorientation

In the context of personal injury, disorientation refers to a state of confusion in which an individual has difficulty understanding their surroundings, identifying their location, or recognizing the time and date. Disorientation can also include challenges in identifying oneself or others. It often results from a traumatic brain injury (TBI), concussion, shock, or other forms of physical trauma that impact the brain’s ability to function normally.
