Adjuster

An adjuster (also known as a claims adjuster) is a professional employed by an insurance company, or sometimes working as an independent contractor, whose primary responsibility is to investigate and evaluate insurance claims. The role of an adjuster involves determining the extent of the insurance company’s liability for a claim and recommending or deciding on the amount of compensation that should be paid to the claimant.
