In real estate, a declaration is a legal document that outlines the rules, regulations, and rights associated with a particular property, especially in the context of condominium developments, planned unit developments (PUDs), or homeowners associations (HOAs). This document is often referred to as a declaration of covenants, conditions, and restrictions (CC&Rs).
