Fee Simple Estate

A fee simple estate is the most complete form of ownership one can have in real property under the law. It is a type of freehold estate, which means it provides the owner with the maximum possible rights to the property, including the rights to possess, use, and dispose of the property as they see fit. A fee simple estate is often referred to as “fee simple absolute” because it has no limitations or conditions attached, other than those imposed by law (such as zoning regulations or covenants).
