Vacated
The term vacated generally refers to the act of leaving or moving out of a place, often permanently. In a legal or real estate context, when a property is “vacated,” it means that the occupants have left, and the property is now empty or unoccupied.
For example, if a tenant vacates an apartment, they have moved out, and the apartment is no longer in their possession. Similarly, if a court ruling is “vacated,” it means that the previous decision or order has been annulled or set aside, essentially making it no longer valid or in effect.
